Ingredients
- 2,2 lb 1000 gr Pork Sausage
- 2 glasses 2 glasses White Wine
- 1 cup 100 gr Breadcrumbs
- 1 branch 1 branch fresh Rosemary
- Sage
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Preparation
Cut the sausage into 10-12 pieces, and prick the skin with a fork.
In a large casserole heat some extra virgin olive oil and braise the sausages on both sides. As soon as they appear golden, add the white wine, the rosemary, the sage and let it cook at medium heat for 10 minutes. Then sprinkle with bread crumbs and cook for another 10 minutes or until the sauce is reduced to a thick consistency.
Notes
Usually sausages are already salted and spicy so you won’t need additional salt and pepper.
This recipe is very simple, even if you are not an experienced cook. In and it’s perfect to be sided by any kind of vegetables, mashed potatoes or a slice of polenta.
